The Special Collections Department collects oral histories related to the history of Northeast Texas and Texas A&M University-Commerce. The department also serves as a repository for oral histories conducted by students and faculty in the course of their research.

Conditions Governing Use

Items in this collection are protected by applicable copyright laws. Certain recordings may not be accessible due restrictions put in place by the interview subject.

The oral history interviews available in this collection were originally recorded on a variety of media. We are in the process of converting all interviews to a digital format. Some interviews may be readily available in a digital format, but others will need to be captured. Please contact the department if you are interested in one of our interviews and allow ample time for us to convert the recording to digital, if necessary.
